Need Help Understanding Insurance?

The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) is a free and unbiased counseling program provided by the Indiana Department of Insurance for Medicare beneficiaries in Indiana. SHIP is a non-profit organization designed to provide an unbiased place for seniors and pre-retirees to find answers to their health insurance questions.  All services are free.

SHIP counselors are trained volunteers who can answer questions about Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement insurance, Medicaid, Long Term Care insurance, Prescription Coverage or Low Income Assistance. Get more information and find a SHIP Counseling Center near you.
