CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions is hosting a holiday art contest for persons 60 years or older in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby counties.

Any medium may be used: pencil, pen, oils, watercolor, acrylic, etc. Please DO NOT use any trademarked images in your design (e.g., Disney or Sesame Street characters). Entries will be judged on the artist’s interpretation of the theme; originality; artistic elements, composition, and skill.

Participants will receive a certificate and recognition on the CICOA and Indy Creative Aging web sites. The winner will also receive $100 and 25 copies of the card with their winning design.

Winter in Indiana

Size:
All entries must be on paper or canvas no larger than 11x14 inches and may be oriented either landscape or portrait. The winning design will be reduced and printed on a card 8” x 5 ½”.

WHEN:
Oct. 21            Art entry deadline
Oct. 24-31       Artwork exhibited at CICOA
Oct. 25-26       Artwork judged
