Plan your visit around our hours, which are Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM or by special arrangement. Our volunteers are valuable assets of Grovers Museum. A sampling of their many tasks includes greet guests, lead tours, serve refreshments, set up exhibits, arrange rooms for events, serve gift shop customers, kitchen duty, accession artifacts, host cabin at Shelby County fair grounds.
 
Hamilton County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc.   City: Carmel   General Description: 8 great towns, 1 destination; The Hamilton County Convention and Visitors Bureau is a not-for-profit tourism organization. Founded in 1990, its mission is to promote and encourage the development, in Hamilton County, of tourism, conventions, visitors, trade shows, festivals and other special events.
 
Hamilton County Museum of History   City: Noblesville   General Description: The Old Hamilton County Sheriff's Residence and Jail was built in 1875-1876, four years before the present Court House. It served as the Sheriff's Residence and the Jail until 1977. The Hamilton County Historical Society has the property leased from the County Commissioners and has restored most of the interior and developed the museum for the citizens of Hamilton Co.

Indiana Historical Society   City: Indianapolis   General Description: Since 1830, the Indiana Historical Society has been Indiana's storyteller, connecting people to the past by collecting, preserving, interpreting and disseminating Indiana history. The independent, nonprofit organization also publishes books and periodicals; sponsors teacher workshops; provides youth, adult and family programming; assists local historical groups throughout the state; and maintains one of the largest collections of material on the history of Indiana and the Old Northwest.
 
Indiana Medical History Museum   City: Indianapolis   General Description: Offers unique education programs that enhance state history and science curriculum. Indiana State Police Museum   City: Indianapolis   General Description: During a tour, visitors can see displays of donated and confiscated items from the John Dillinger era, as well as a moonshine still, a variety of state police vehicles, and numerous antique equipment relating to law enforcement. Indiana War Memorial Museum   City: Indianapolis   General Description: The building contains a free military museum that portrays the history of Indiana's gallant veterans from the Battle of Tippecanoe, through the several wars in which we have been engaged, to the present.
 
Indianapolis Convention & Visitors' Assoc.   City: Indianapolis   General Description: The Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association (ICVA) is a private, non-profit organization formed in 1923. It is governed by a board of directors, with additional insight provided by an advisors board, and employs a staff of more than 60 professionals. The ICVA is funded from both private (membership, advertising and sponsorship) and public sources (Capital Improvement Board, a portion of the Marion County innkeeper's tax).

Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum   City: Indianapolis   General Description: Located in Speedway, the track is host to many racing events including the 500 mile race, NASCAR and Formula I. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum is recognized as one of the most highly visible museums in the world devoted to automobiles and auto racing. In 1987, the museum and Speedway grounds were honored with the designation of National Historic Landmark. Approximately 75 vehicles are on display at all times, and among the featured attractions are: •The Marmon "Wasp," which won the inaugural Indianapolis 500 in 1911 with Ray Harroun at the wheel. •More than 30 Indianapolis 500-winning cars. •The four cars driven to victory by A.J. Foyt, including his 1977 machine that represents his record-setting fourth Indianapolis 500 win.
